We’re thrilled to unveil our latest seasonal nursery menu, debuting this week! This year, we’ve collaborated with Louise Mercieca to craft a menu that not only delights the taste buds but also nourishes growing minds and bodies
Louise Mercieca, Nutritional Therapist
Louise, an award-winning author and radio show presenter, leverages her expertise as a Nutritional Therapist to advocate for the critical link between food and health, especially in child development.
With extensive experience in the Early Years sector since 2018, she is committed to promoting optimal nutrition practices for the well-being of young children.
Joining forces with Louise is our Head Chef, Sam Handley, who has been instrumental in bringing our menu to life.
Sam Handley, Head Chef
With over a decade of experience in the catering sector, Sam is deeply passionate about nutrition, especially when it comes to catering to the needs of young children. His dedication to creating healthy, balanced meals shines through in every dish he prepares.
Sam’s approach to menu development involves collaboration and creativity. He not only works closely with nutritionists and fellow chefs but also engages with parents at our nurseries to gather feedback on the new dishes.
This feedback loop ensures that every meal we serve is not only nutritious but also meets the preferences and dietary needs of the children we serve.
At Family First Nurseries, we believe in the importance of involving parents in their child’s development journey. That’s why we’re always eager to share our recipes with families, inviting them to recreate our meals at home and continue the conversation about healthy eating beyond the nursery walls.
As we roll out our new menu, we invite you to join us in celebrating the joy of good food and the impact it can have on the lives of our little ones. Stay tuned for more updates and exciting developments on our journey to promote health and wellness for every child in our care.
